About
Fëalata is my digital art portfolio where I can display all the pieces of art I have created online. However it has been through many changes in the time it has been in existence.
In the beginning of my time online, I co-owned a general Lord of the Rings site with my sister, called Mithuial. At first it was really quite terrible, as I'm sure we are both ready to admit. It was really a chance for us to get to grips with HTML and become part of the Lord of the Rings online community. We gradually began improving in coding and graphics making.
However it slowly became apparent that Mithuial was really my sister's website. At the beginning Mithuial had been a great adventure, but later on I found that owning a site lost most of it's excitement and so I passed over the ownership, fully, to my sister.
But still I knew that owning a site had been a wonderful experience and I wanted to continue owning one. I had said goodbye to Mithuial, so I decided to make my own website but this time completely alone. And so Fëalata was born.
Through Mithuial, I had learnt the basics of graphics making and this soon became a great love of mine, so I decided that Fëalata would become my graphics site. However I didn't want to completely let go of my LotR roots, so it became a LotR graphics site.
After several months being hosted by Freewebs, I wanted to take Fëalata one step further.
Jacky was looking for hostees, so I jumped at the chance to be hosted by her. I applied and she accepted and now I have been hosted by Jacky since 25th September 2005.
I am eternally grateful to Jacky for hosting me thus far and to the people who made owning a site one of the best experiences I could possibly ever have. It has been such a pleasure so far and I hope will remain one for the foreseeable future.
