Alive
Hello! The first thing to mention is that Fëalata is alive again, although I expect you had noticed that. 
What should also notice is that the layout features someone completely unLOTR related. That is because I am tired of restricting my muse and so I've decided to open it up to a general graphics site. My portfolio (if you want to use a fancy word). That means that you'll find more variety in the art (in theory) and I'll find it easier to make art (yet again this is in theory). Which will certainly be good.
So I have mentioned the layout. It features Emilie de Ravin (Claire from LOST). I would say it is a rather different style to what I normally do, but I am please with how to turned out. Also I finally found out how to code in PHP, using includes no less! It saves an insane amount of time, I can assure you!
As far as changes to the site are concerned, there is no longer a challenge section. Strange though it seems, there was never enough interest to make it worthwhile. It is a shame it had to go, but I feel keeping it would have simply wasted my time. (Also I had no inspiration for ideas for challenges.) You never know though, I may decided to open a challenge site in the future.
The delay is uploading my site has been a good thing rather than a bad thing. It has given me a lot of time to keep reviewing my art, and giving me a chance to only upload art I am pleased with. Considering my absence for a good few months, I'm sure the lack of art will surprise many of you. I admit that my muse vanished for a good long while, but in the times she (because my muse is definitely feminine) returned to me I made quite a lot of art. However very few pieces survived the great purges I put my files through. In this way, I hope the art that is still in existance is good art. I would go through all the art I made, but the quantity, however small, makes it unmanageable. So I'll leave it up to you to take a look.
